MAGNACULT In 'Full Writing Mode'

January 26, 2009

Bassist Spit of the Dutch groove metallers MAGNACULT has issued the following update:

"I thought it was time to give you an update about what's going on in the MAGNACULT camp. As you might have noticed we've been laying low since the KITTIE tour we did in October/November last year…"

"Well we've not sat still but are in full writing mode at the moment. We are thrashing out crushing riffs and combining the best from our debut album with some new influences that came along since the release of our first record. Sebastiaan is nailing it with brutal vocal lines and he's also doing some stuff you haven't heard on the first record. Bionic is on the loose and is coming up with amazing drum rolls and patterns that make you go: WOW!!! Tom and D. are thrashing out killer riffs and all of this combined together will deliver you the record you've been waiting for from us! When the new record will be out we don't know yet but when it will hit the stores and gets in your CD player I can guarantee you that it will blow your socks off! And it makes you want to mosh all day long!"

MAGNACULT's debut album, "Synoré", was released in May 2007 via Rusty Cage Records. The CD was self-produced by the band along with Jochem Jacobs (TEXTURES) and Bouke Visser, and was mixed and mastered at the Split Second Sound Studio.
